Natalie Cook 1st Place Girls 5K Gold Race - RunningLane Cross Country Championships 2021

Senior Natalie Cook of Lewisville Flower Mound in Texas, an Oklahoma State commit, won the girls 5-kilometer gold race in 16:03.93 at the Garmin RunningLane Cross Country Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. Cook produced the second-fastest 5-kilometer cross country race in history, trailing only the 2000 winning time at RunningLane of 15:58.42 achieved by Brigham Young signee Jenna Hutchins of Science Hill, Tenn. Cook helped Flower Mound XC finish eighth overall with 300 points, despite not having Nicole Humphries in the lineup.
